The Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) was formed in 2006 and sets out the standards applicable to the selling or leasing of small-scale heat and power generators, whether from renewable or other low carbon sources, to domestic consumers.
MCS aims to give confidence in low-carbon energy technology by defining, maintaining and improving quality. MCS creates and maintains standards that allows for the certification of products, installers and their installations.
